or Two Hearts depending on the class.

Plant-based Thai Cooking Class

Holistic chef and nutrition consultant, Chef Carrie, will guide you through this hands-on cooking class focused on plant-based Thai cooking. Learn the health benefits of the ingredients for each dish as you cook this flavorful Thai-inspired menu.

From filling fresh spring rolls with a savory peanut sauce to building a rich chickpea and cauliflower curry, this vegan menu is bursting with nutrients and bold flavors. You’ll also try your hand at a traditional lemon grass soup and homemade coconut ice cream in this plant-based adventure into Thai cuisine.

In this hands-on class with Chef Carrie, you’ll explore the bounty of the Mediterranean and learn why enjoying food from this region is recommended for a long and healthy life.

From a comforting Tuscan kale soup to a fresh Greek tomato salad with crisp cucumbers and briny olives, this vegetable-packed menu showcases the delicious variety of the region. You’ll also learn how to make hearty protein-rich meatballs with a tangy mint tzatziki sauce, and a light, yet satisfying dessert of honey-roasted stone fruit with creamy cashew lemon ricotta.

Authentic Pasta Making Cooking Class

Menu:

  • Classic Italian Salad with Lemon Vinaigrette

Learn authentic pasta making from scratch with Chef Carrie.

In this hands-on cooking class, you’ll learn traditional pasta-making recipes and techniques handed down through generations as Chef Carrie will teaches you how to make two pasta dishes featuring classic herbs and sauces.

First, you’ll combine quintessential Italian flavors into a simple yet elevated meal from a fresh Italian salad with a bright lemon vinaigrette to handmade pasta dough for tagliatelle with a basil and hemp seed pesto and ravioli with tomato basil sauce. For dessert, enjoy decadent hand-rolled truffles to end a meal that would make any Italian grandmother proud.

What’s the one way to make a salad even healthier? Make your own dressing! In this one hour class, you will learn to make 4 delicious and versatile dressings that take the boredom out of eating greens and make your salads sing. You will get an ingredients list sent to you before class so you can choose to cook along with the instructor in your kitchen. A blender is recommended.

Holiday Pie Workshop

Learn how to bake perfect pies just in time for the holidays. This Baking Class is simple, fun and foolproof pie-making – perfect for everyone. 

During this Pie Baking Workshop, you will learn how to make a fresh, flaky pie crust from scratch in about the same amount of time it takes to read the ingredients on the package of a frozen pie shell! You will also learn how to create delicious pies using healthier, less processed ingredients with less refined sugar and no trans-fat.

Meet Carrie

As a board certified nutrition consultant and culinary instructor, I know the root of wellness is healthy eating. But as a mom, I know meals have to be quick, yummy, and budget friendly. So as part of my services I share my knowledge of whole food selection, meal planning, and healthy recipes that will work for you and your whole family.
